Abigail Henderson (she/her/hers) is originally from New England and grew up in the United Church of Christ. After graduating from Wellesley College and Harvard Divinity School, she moved to Minneapolis in 2008 and has called Minnesota home ever since.
Abigail has experience as a local church pastor, a hospital chaplain, and as a program director at the Minnesota Conference UCC. She received a Master of Social Work degree in clinical mental health from the University of Minnesota; she has additional background in sexual health education and working with LGBTQ+ youth and elders.
Abigail is excited to return to local church ministry and walk with Olivet during this important time. She loves worship leadership, pastoral care, and faith formation/spiritual education for all ages. She and her spouse Will (he/him/his) live in South Minneapolis.
Abigail works 30 hours/week and checks messages Sunday through Thursday. She is typically in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday, works from home on Monday and Thursday, and takes Sabbath on Friday and Saturday. She encourages you to contact her and make an appointment.
